Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) is the organization that developed and manages Envision, a framework that encourages systemic changes in the planning, design, and delivery of sustainable, resilient, and equitable civil infrastructure through education, training, and third-party project verification. Envision Sustainability Professional credential (ISI ENV SP) is a globally recognized highly credible approach to sustainable, resilient, and equitable infrastructure and a very powerful tool to increase understanding of the structure of sustainability.

ARC’s is an asynchronous (real-time live) training. Our trainers - Lonnie Coplen ENV SP, Karen Smyth ENV SP, Casey Barrett PE, ENV SP - and experienced infrastructure practitioners and are among a very limited number of ISI Envision 3.0 trainers in the world. They give an overview of what to expect on the exam, detailed discussions on key topics and concepts needed to pass the exam, plus real-world case studies.
ARC’s ISI ENV SP certification training is a two-day/eight-hour training held on consecutive weekend days. We give you the chance exchange ideas with others while learning the ropes and prepping for test. We also include the following activities in the training.
· 15 minutes one-on-one
· Lunch-and-learn on Sunday with a special guest providing key sustainable infrastructure topics

Porie Saikia, (February 19th 2023,) FAIA, FCIOB, RIBA. As the Director, Environmental Sustainability and Compliance, at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York (MTA), Porie Saikia, advances the vision for an environmentally sustainable MTA across its five agencies. She develops strategies for renewable energy, GHG reduction, and energy efficiency, incorporating long-term sustainability goals, anticipating trends in industry, technology, society, and legislative & regulatory practices. Saikia is a Registered Architect/USA, Chartered Architect/UK, Chartered Construction Manager/UK, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building. How do I take the exam?
After we and ISI confirm your attendance of the training, normally takes 2 days, you will be able to take the exam on ISI’s website, with no action needed.
What if I fail the exam?
The exam is a 75 multiple choice question open book test. You have 3 chances to take it and all our former trainees passed the exam within 2 chances. If you fail the exam after 3 times, you can join our training again for free until you pass the exam.
What if I already paid ISI for the online (asynchronous) training course?
In cases where students have already paid ISI for the asynchronous course but want to take our exciting, lives course, we charge an additional $100. (You - and all students - still have access to the asynchronous course!)
